- The Community Wellness Center has a summer conditioning training session with Titus Kalama every Monday, Wednesday & Friday morning from 8:30-10.
- The Food Bank at the Warm Springs Commodities warehouse is open today from 10am to 1pm.
- The Back to School Yard Sale at the Community Wellness Center is today from 9am to 3pm.
- The Community Wellness Center lot is closed today for pavement work. Please use the parking area behind the Community Center.
- Friday is Senior Lunch Day in Warm Springs. Free meals for elders 60 and older are from noon to 1 every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday in the Senior Wellness Center dining room.
- The Metolius Friends Food Pantry is open to all on Fridays from 4-6pm at 575 Hood Ave. You do need to bring your own bags.
- ABBAcadabra: The Ultimate ABBA Tribute Concert is tonight at General Duffy’s Waterhole in Redmond. Doors open at 6pm with music at 8:30. Some of the proceeds will benefit the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Wildfire Recovery Fund and Thrive Central Oregon. Ticket details are available at GeneralDuffys.com.
A celebration of life Garland Brunoe will be held this Saturday (8/22) at 1:00 at the Living Hope Christian Center in Madras. Internment will follow at the Agency Cemetery at 4.
The August Drummers Jammz Social Powwow is on Tuesday, August 25th at the Community Center. There’s a potluck at 5:30 and the powwow starts at 6:30. All drummer, dancers and food vendors are welcome.
The Back to School BBQ & Family Resource Fair at the Warm Springs K-8 Academy will be held on Thursday, September 3 from 4-6pm. It’s a chance to connect with teachers and staff from the 509J school district. Everyone is welcome.

Tenants of Warm Springs Housing Authority who require emergency repairs after hours or on weekends/holidays need to contact Warm Springs PD Dispatch and request Housing’s on-call service. A qualifying emergency service would be a broken water line, backed up sewer, any electrical issues and kicked-in exterior doors. All other non-emergency work orders can be taken care of on the next business day.
The Warm Springs Police Department has temporarily contracted with Frontier Regional 911 to assist with dispatch during overnight hours. Frontier is handling all 911 and emergency dispatch services for the Warm Springs PD between the hours of 6pm and 6am. During these hours, community members who need non-emergency assistance from the police department should call 541-384-2080.
